This document demonstrators how to deploy WFilter with a Dell 2884 switch. The network topology diagram:
Port mirroring settings of the Dell 2884 switch:
In this example, port g8(connected to the router) is configured as the "source port", port g7(connected to WFilter) is configured as the "destination port".
The mirroring type shall be "TX and RX".
By now, you are able to monitor all clients internet activity in local network.
